The Daughters of ErrorLandia are a special combat division that specializes in raining death from the skies. They are a subfaction of ErrorLandia that consist of mostly females.
History
Military service in ErrorLandian society is, and has been, largely been dominated by men. In the closing years of the Universal War, enlisted women were usually not assigned as infantry or combat vehicle drivers, but instead as logistics workers, medics, and, on rare occasions, scouts. Many senior officers in the military as well as Emperor Error himself were, understandably, opposed to the idea of sending women out as frontline combatants, and this was the status quo for years after the end of the war. Opinions would start to sway, however, as a new crisis reared its ugly head.
As the Clone Zombies seared across the Empire's territory like a firestorm, it was becoming clear that something had to change. Permanent military bases couldn't be permanent for long before they were overrun, and the ErrorLandian military had a notable lack of VTOL aircraft or airships that could stay airborne for extended periods of time. Prototype airships were in development prior to the conflict, but they weren't ready, and progress was only made slower by the Clone Zombies attacking. Casualties mounted, cities were lost, and civilians were losing hope and trust in the government as they had failed to keep their loved ones safe. The situation was starting to look dire.
Many enlisted women expressed their desire to fight, most of them having lost their homes, friends and family to the Clone Zombies. Previously, they would have been shown the door, but times were different, and the ErrorLandian military was looking for anyone who was willing to learn how to pull triggers, drive their vehicles, or pilot their aircraft. Just like before, many senior military officers were opposed to allowing women to operate as infantry or otherwise directly participate in combat, but the renowned Air Force Captain Elena Qatar was not one to ignore such enthusiasm, and so with the blessing of Emperor Error, she would train an all-female wing of the ErrorLandian Air Force in close air support duties. The 457th CAS Bomber Regiment was so effective that they were affectionately nicknamed 'Valkyries' by troops on the ground. From there, more women were inspired to join the ErrorLandian Air Force, the 457th was chosen to try out the completed airships, and the Daughters of ErrorLandia were born.
Overview
Essentially Nod’s support doctrine but for ErrorLandia, the DoE specialize in close air support, while being backed by other EL ground forces. Their access to the new J-37 Jet Fighters allow them to assert their dominance in the skies and shoot down most aircraft that get in their way. However, these airships, being heavy weapon platforms, take the place of conventional ground-based siege units. The Daughters heavily rely on air superiority in order to wreck havoc upon their opponents. If their commander is unable to wrestle control over the airspace, the subfaction's offensive capabilities would be heavily crippled.
As a subfaction, they have access to most of ErrorLandia’s technology, save from a select few units (Flyswatters, Warmongers, Hawkeyes, Reapers, Commandos, and J-36 fighters). In their place, however, they introduce much more effective aircraft as well as a new mobile AA unit, the Red Eye.
